  For what you pay this was fantastic. Most kiwis are nice, but Gill and her husband were the nicest hosts we have met by far. Let us borrow their DVDs, it's a short drive to the alpine crossing, and they offered to pick us up whenever we finished the walk. Hands down a delightful place to stay. Loved it.
